A Short History of the Ragdoll

In the 1960's, Ann Baker, a breeder in California created the Ragdoll breed by selecting kittens of Josephine, a feral semi longhaired white female cat. Josephine had Daddy Warbucks and Blackie. Later, by Daddy Warbucks she had Fugianna and by Blackie she had Buckwheat.
All Ragdolls are descendants of Daddy Warbucks to Fugianna and Buckwheat. Ann Baker started her own cat association for the Ragdoll, eventually some of the breeders joined other cat associations
